As part of our art studies this term, we have been looking at creating some collages based on the different world environments. Here are some of the children’s finished work.

While the year 6 children were busy with SATs the year 5 children looked at a variety of different styles of poetry. Here are some examples of their finished work.

Welcome to the new school term. This Term our topic is Chocolate. As we introduce the topic to the children, they are always provided with knowledge organisers for Science and Topic.

Here are the two knowledge organisers for this term.

As part of our English, we have been looking at non-fiction texts and have been learning about information texts. First, we worked together to create an interesting opening paragraph. Next, we were given notes about the weird and wonderful fish that live deep in the abyss and we had to turn them into a well-written paragraph. Finally, we worked together to create these fantastic information texts.

Welcome to the new academic year. The children are already working hard on the topic and have used atlases to identify the seas and oceans of the world.
