At Branston Junior Academy, we believe learning should be both exciting and enjoyable, while maintaining exceptionally high expectations. We take a whole-school approach to learning, with pupils from Years 3 to 6 exploring the same topic themes together. Each topic begins with a shared WOW Day, designed to engage, inspire and motivate children from the very start of their learning journey.
We are proud of our strong links with the local community, particularly our close partnerships with our feeder infant and secondary schools. Working closely with parents and carers is also central to our ethos, and we offer a variety of workshops, information sessions and events throughout the year to support families and celebrate learning together.
We believe education extends beyond the classroom. To enrich our pupils’ experiences and develop their talents and interests, we provide a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including sports competitions, a spring concert, residential visits, lunchtime clubs and after-school clubs.
