Branston Junior Academy provides for the admission of all children in the September following their seventh birthday. They transfer to their secondary schools in the September after their eleventh birthday. The Published Admission Number (PAN) for the school is set at 45.

The Local Authority manage admissions to schools throughout the County and parents must acquire and return application forms to them. Forms are available from the Local Authority by calling 01522 782 030 or visiting: Apply for a school – Applying to secondary schools – Lincolnshire County Council
Parents and legal guardians are invited to indicate their preference of school and are notified at which school their children have been allocated places in the Spring, prior to them starting in September. Places will be allocated in March each year, according to the current Local Authority admissions criteria.

For a September 2024 start, the National Offer Day is 1st March 2024 for Secondary Schools and 16th April 2024 for Primary Schools. The appeal deadlines are 28th March 2024 for Secondary and 14th May 2024 for Primary.
