Teaching Assistant - 20 hours

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team. All of our Teaching Assistants fulfil various roles across the school, sometimes supporting small groups of children, sometimes working 1:1 and all run specific intervention groups at various times in the day. For this specific post you will also be supporting a child who will be new to us, who does have some behavioural diffculties. If successful you would be joining a very supportive team of Teaching Assistants and indeed all staff.

The position is 20 hours per week, term time only, which for the 2024 to 2025 academic year, equates to:

Monday 09:00 to 15:20

Tuesday 09:00 to 12:30

Wednesday 09:00 to 12:30

Thursday 09:00 to 12:30

Friday 09:00 to 12:30

Please note that each academic year the times / days may change in order to cater for the needs of the children.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and enjoy working with children. They will be creative, experienced, fun, consistent, adaptable, and be able to use their own initiative. The successful candidate will also need strong behavioural management skills, with a firm, fair and consistent approach. Team Teach qualifications are desirable but not esseential.

If the successful candidate can start work at the beginning of Autumn Term 2, that would be superb!
